Driver involved in tourist bus tragedy booked earlier for vandalism

Kochi: There are reports that tourist driver Jomon, arrested in the Vadakkencherry bus accident case, has been booked in vandalism case too.

Jomon was arrested for vandalising DYFI office at Koothattukulam in Ernakulam on July 16. However, he was released on bail. It is learnt that the issue over DYFI’s anti-drug campaign ended up in the office attack.

The purported video of the attack shows Jomon threatening a person and using foul language. This is the latest among the reports that corroborates criminal track record of Jomon.
