Kozhikode: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the centenary celebrations of the Calicut diocese here on Sunday. Amid the protest against the CM over the gold smuggling case, the diocese authorities have asked the believers to avoid wearing outfits including masks and shawls in black colour while attending the centenary celebrations.

The authorities informed that the warning was given as a precautionary measure to prevent unwanted conflicts. The protest organised by the opposition parties against the Chief Minister over allegations levelled by Swapna Suresh has been keeping the state on the edge.
