Thiruvananthapuram: The doctors will go on strike from 6 am to 6 pm on Friday to protest on the recurring incidents of attacks against doctors in the state.
Only the functioning of casualties and emergency surgeries will be carried out on Friday at both government and private hospitals, reported the Indian Medical Association.
Over 40 associations have declared solidarity with the strike. Doctors will conduct demonstrations at IMA headquarters at Anayara in Thiruvananthapuram and its district centres from 10.30 am.
