Kozhikode: The Kasaba police on Tuesday arrested a doctor under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for allegedly sexually abusing a minor girl in Kozhikode.
The accused has been identified as CM Aboobacker, a doctor in Kozhikode city. He was arrested based on the complaint lodged by the parents of a 15-year-old girl alleging that she was sexually abused by the doctor amid a clinical examination.
The accused will be produced before the Kozhikode POCSO court.
