Kochi: The Crime Branch will interrogate actor Dileep over the alleged conspiracy to murder the investigating officers of the 2017 actress attack case. Along with Dileep, his brother Anoop and brother-in-law Sooraj who are also accused of the crime will be questioned again.
The probe team will summon the trio for interrogation only after receiving the forensic examination report of the mobile phones. It is learnt that the forensic examination of the mobile phones submitted by the accused is in progress. The forensic examination report will be submitted before the Aluva magistrate court within a few days. Following this, the crime branch team will interrogate the accused again.
The probe team is anticipating that they will get crucial evidence from the mobile phones. It is hinted that the crime branch has collected more evidence against the accused. Hence, the three accused, including the actor, will be questioned based on the new findings in the case.
Earlier, Dileep and other accused appeared before the probe team for a three-day interrogation as directed by the court. Following this, they obtained anticipatory bail in the case. The High Court granted conditional bail to the accused as directing them to cooperate with the probe team.
