Kochi: Crime Branch on Friday has recorded the statement of actress Manju Warrier on the conspiracy case related to the actress sexual assault case of 2017.
It is learned that the probe team conversed with her for almost three-and-half hours at a hotel in Kochi. Earlier, a meeting of investigation officers had decided to take the statement of Manju Warrier. It is worth noting that her statement was earlier taken in connection with the actress attack case.
It is reported that Manju is questioned on the recent discovery of WhatsApp chats and audio messages found on Dileep's phone.
Meantime, the crime branch is likely to question Kavya Madhavan, Dileep's lawyer and other relatives in connection with the case.
