Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Minister KT Jaleel said that he is ready to face any inquiry. Earlier reports had said that the Union Finance Ministry in gearing up for a probe against Jaleel in connection with accepting foreign aid without permission.
Taking to Facebook, he said “I am ready to face any probe. The matter was revealed by myself earlier. Any agency can probe. I did nothing wrong and hence don’t fear anyone,” he wrote.Jaleel had earlier revealed that he had accepted Ramzan kits from UAE Consulate to be distributed among public.
Jaleel also stated in the FB post that he tested Covid negative after 14-day quarantine. However, his gunman tested positive for the virus infection and hence Jaleel would be undergoing quarantine further as instructed by Thiruvananthapuram DMO.
“However, I would be available on phone anytime,” he added.
