Devotees don't have issues, but Sangh Parivar: CM's reply to Amit Shah
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan responded to the criticisms raised by Amith Shah over the Sabarimala issue.
The CM said that devotees do not have any issues rather it is the Sangh Parivar who are deliberately trying to create problems targeting Sabarimala. He also added that Amit Shah would have been wrongly informed and this might have prompted him to tweet in such a way.
Chief Minister explained his stance in the posts shared through Facebook and Twitter.
“What Amit Shah shared in his tweet was completely misleading regarding the Sabarimala pilgrimage. The devotees have no issues in Sabarimala. The pilgrims including women and children face no problems there.
The government have always stood with the interest of devotees and necessary actions will be taken to meet their needs. As said by union minister Rajnath Singh, the government is implementing the Supreme Court verdict and the Center and state have nothing else to do in that matter. This stance itself answers Amit Shah.
Even the Human Rights Commission had made it clear that there are no issues surrounding the pilgrimage. The pilgrims are also satisfied with the facilities and arrangements at Sabarimala. At this time, Amit Shah’s tweet is completely baseless and insignificant. ”
