Derogatory speech on Sabarimala women entry issue: Actor Kollam Thulasi surrenders
Kollam: Actor Kollam Thulasi, who made a derogatory speech on the Sabarimala women entry issue surrendered before the investigating officer. The high court had earlier rejected the anticipatory bail plea of the actor and had directed him to surrender immediately before the investigating officer.
Kollam Thulasi made his disrespectful remarks at a welcome event held for the Sabarimala protection March led by BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai at Charava on October 12.
At the event, he had said that the mothers in Kerala should go to Sabarimala and tear apart the women who come to climb the hill shrine and deliver them to the Supreme Court and the Office of Chief Minister. Later, he had apologised over his remarks.
