Demolition of Cross: `Spirit in Jesus' flays Bishops
Thrissur: Spirit In Jesus founder Tom Zachariah, who was alleged to have encroached government land by erecting huge metal Cross at Pappathichola, has lashed out at the heads of Catholic and Jacobite churches in the state.
Earlier, the church heads had strongly criticised encroachment on government lands in the name of Cross and religion.
Tom Zachariah, writing in the Spirit in Jesus mouthpiece magazine, said the Kingdom of Heaven is forbidden for those who opposed the cross. “The church heads will have to pay the price for it,” he wrote.
Tom Zachariah alleged that the bishops are leading a luxurious lifestyle and that he had not earned any money or assets in his entire life. He further claimed that a ‘divine light’ had originated from the Cross which was demolished.
He also said that majority of the Christians today are not real Christians as they do not follow the divine quotes.
