Fort Kochi sub collector Snehil Kumar Singh, who is in-charge of flat demolition, held discussion with Sarwate at the guest house. M. Muhammed Arif Khan who is in-charge of Maradu municipality, received Sarwate at the airport.
It was sub collector Snehil Kumar Singh who asked the government that the presence of an expert experienced in controlled explosion is required during the procedures. Sarwate has a Guinness record for demolishing 200 huge buildings.
The two companies, Edifice Engineers and Vijay Steels, shortlisted for demolition, also will be finalised on Friday. Sarwate’s advice will be sought in deciding the company for demolition.
