Kochi: Twenty20 chief coordinator Sabu M Jacob on Saturday levelled serious allegations against CPM over the murder of a party worker. The murder of Deepu was pre-meditated. The accused contacted Kunnathunadu MLA PV Srinijin before and after the incident, he said. Srinijin should be the first accused in the case, Sabu said.
The Kitex MD also said that around 50 workers of Twenty20 were attacked after Srinijin became MLA. When a complaint is lodged, they were forced to withdraw it. CPM is terrorising people of all four grama panchayats ruled by the Twenty20, he added.

The party had announced 'lights off' protest on February 5. The conspiracy to kill Deepu took place before February 12. It was a professional team that attacked Deepu, he said.
Deepu on Friday had succumbed to injuries from the attack. Four CPM workers are charged with murder in the incident. All of them are under arrest. The post-mortem of Deepu will be conducted on Saturday at Kottayam Medical College.
