Thiruvananthapuram: The autopsy report of a Class 8 girl who died under mysterious circumstances at her home has been released, revealing that she had been raped multiple times and had internal bleeding in her brain, which caused her death.
The report noted that the girl had been forced to engage in unnatural sex, resulting in deep wounds on her body.
The investigation has been handed over to the Crime Branch, and charges related to sexual assault have been added following the autopsy revelations.
The victim was found dead on March 30, collapsed in the bathroom with a head injury and blood reportedly coming from her nose.
The victim is the daughter of a police officer, and initially, the case was filed as an unnatural death. The investigation team is now questioning the victim's friends and relatives to uncover more information, as the cause of her death still remains a mystery.
