V M Sudheeran resigns from KPCC Political Affairs Committee


Congress leader V M Sudheeran resigned from the KPCC political affairs committee. He handed over the resignation letter to state president K Sudhakaran.

Thrissur: Senior Congress leader, V M Sudheeran, has resigned from the KPCC Political Affairs Committee on Saturday. He has handed over the resignation letter to KPCC President, K Sudhakaran.

The displeasure over the reshuffle of the DCC presidents was cited as the reason for the resignation.

Being a veteran politican figure, he had earlier occupied the positions of KPCC president, speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly, health minister etc. He was a Lok Sabha MP too.

Other senior leaders Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala had earlier expressed displeasure over the appointment of the DCC presidents. K Sudhakaran said the changes will bring back the glory of Congress.
