Daytime unreserved sleeper class tickets to be reinstated in Kerala after Covid break

Kannur: After two-year-long Covid break, the option to get daytime unreserved sleeper class tickets in trains will be reinstated in Kerala from September 1.

The option will be first resumed in Thiruvananthapuram Division in the trains towards Chennai and Mangaluru. It is learnt that Palakkad Division too will reinstate the option soon.

The passengers can get the sleeper tickets from station counters, to travel from 6 AM to 9 PM and make use of vacant seats in SL compartments. The passenger will not hold any right for the seat and has to vacate if the reserved passenger comes.
