Dharmajan Bolgatty | Mathrubhumi
Kozhikode: Amidst speculation of being fielded in the upcoming Assembly election, actor Dharmajan Bolgatty held discussions with AICC secretary P V Mohanan, who is in charge of North Kerala. Discussions were held at the Ernakulam Guest House. It is learnt that talks revolved around the constituency from where the actor could be fielded.
Meanwhile, the Dalit Congress has come out against the move to field the actor in Balussery. Balussery which is a reserved seat in Kozhikode district, must be given to a person who is very active in the field. The Dalit Congress has sent letters to the AICC and Ramesh Chennithala in connection with this.
At the same time the Dalit Congress leaders affirmed that they are not against Dharmajan.The leaders are of the opinion that Dharmajan who is a celebrity may benefit the party if he contests asa Congress candidate.
