Culprits behind Sandeep murder will be brought before law: CM
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday said that those involved in the murder of CPM local secretary PB Sandeep would be brought before the law. The police officials have been asked to nab the people involved in the conspiracy and murder, he said.
“The motive behind this shocking murder should be unearthed. The murder is heinous and reprehensible. A prominent political leader in the area was killed. Sandeep was a party member who was closely associated with the people and gained recognition as a public servant and a people's representative,” he said.
The CM also conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family of the deceased.
Sandeep was murdered on Thursday night near his house. He was stabbed by a five-member gang multiple times. He succumbed to the injuries before reaching the Thiruvalla taluk hospital. Police have nabbed four accused from Alappuzha. Search for the fifth person is still on.
