Kochi: The probe team has submitted the investigation report on the actress attack case of 2017 at the Angamaly Magistrate court on Monday. Sarath, a friend of actor Dileep, is the 15th accused in the case. The officials also told the court that Sarath was given bail after his arrest was recorded for destroying shreds of evidence in the case.
Meanwhile, the magistrate court will hand over the report to the section court. The report was submitted in court in the wake of the crime branch wrapping up the case before May 31.
Sarath, a close acquaintance of Dileep, is the owner of Surya Hotels. His arrest was recorded at the Aluva Police club. Earlier, director Balachandrakumar alleged that the actor and his friends watched visuals brought by Sarath to Dileep's house. Further, the audio recordings alleged that Dileep's lawyer also watched the visuals. The crime branch later found that these visuals were destroyed by Sarath.
