CPM state secretariat commences; Kadakampally in trouble?
Thiruvananthapuram: The state secretariat of CPM party began in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday. The committee meet is convened in connection with the upcoming Vengara bypoll.
It is expected that the meet will also discuss on Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran’s Guruvayur temple visit.
It is known that the CPM will employ an independent candidate with party support in the Vengara bypoll.
Another two meetings, CPM Malappuram district secretariat on Saturday and LDF meet on Friday are also convened in this regard.
State CPM chief Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had earlier said that the party will seek Kadakampally’s explanation on his temple visit after it embarked controversies.
If his explanation is not convincing, it is known that disciplinary action will be taken against him.
