Palakkad: CPM's Vinayaka Chaturthi celebration in Chittoor using a flag similar to the one used by Sangh Parivar turns viral on social media. CPM conducted 'Shoba Yathra' in the manner followed by Sangh Parivar and Siva Sena.
Earlier, CPM's decision to conduct Sreekrishna Jayanti and 'Ramayana Parayanam' events evoked much criticism from party members across the state.
In the event, CPM used a yellow flag with a picture of Ganapathy, similar to the one used by RSS. Further, the shape of the CPM flag also resembled the RSS flag. People who attended the event shared photos of the flag on social media. Sangh Parivar workers also shared the photo without realising that it was an event conducted by CPM.
