Kochi: CPM state committee elected its secretariat. Eight new members from the committee found a place in the secretariat.
They are ministers Mohammed Riyas, VN Vasavan, Saji Cheriyan, Thiruvananthapuram district secretary Anavoor Nagappan, former MP PK Biju, KK Jayachandran, M Swaraj and Dinesan Puthalath.
The committee elected an 89-member-strong state committee. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan was re-elected as the state secretary.
