CPM leader MM Lawrence’s grandson takes part in BJP’s strike

Thiruvananthapuram: CPM leader M.M. Lawrence’s grandson Milan Lawrence Immanuel was present in the venue of the protest staged by BJP state president. Milan attended the protest against the police violence organised by BJP in front of the DGP office here.

Milan told the media that he was attending the strike as part of expressing his protest. He is a Plus Two student. Milan also said that he wishes to enter politics but has not yet decided on the party. He informed that the decision to participate in the strike was personal and his family had no disagreement with it.

BJP state president P. S. Sreedharan Pillai said that Milan was brought to the protest venue by his mother. It is noteworthy that the grandson of a veteran leader of CPM participated in the strike staged by BJP state president amid the clashes between both parties.

BJP is staging a one-day hunger strike in front of the DGP office to protest the police action in connection with the Sabarimala women entry issue. Also they are organising protest meets at all district police headquarters.
