CPM leader hired Mumbai gangsters to kill me, claims KM Shaji MLA; files complaint
Thiruvananthapuram: KM Shaji MLA claimed that he has received death threats. and that he has filed complaints with the Chief Minister, Speaker and the state DGP regarding this.
The MLA alleged that a CPM leader from Kannur has hired Mumbai based gangsters to kill him. The CPM leader is a native of Pappinisseri in Kannur district. KM Shaji has handed over the voice clips of the conversation between the leader and the goons along with the complaint.
The MLA stated that it was evident from the voice clip that they agreed on a contract of Rs 25 lakhs for the crime. The local leader leader told the goons that he will make arrangements for them to identify the him via Skype and asked them to leave for Mumbai immediately after the crime is committed.
The phone call was leaked from the phone of a prominent local leader. However, the MLA was not ready to hand over the details regarding the person who handed him these details. KM Shaji said that he received 3 voice clips of a member of the Mumabi based gang speaking to the CPM leader from one of the party villages in Kannur.
