CPI (M), BJP set to repeat Thillankeri model in Assembly polls: Mullappally Ramachandran
Malappuram: KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran warned minorities that the CPI (M) and BJP have agreed to repeat the Thillankeri model in the upcoming Assembly polls.
During the LSG polls, the BJP and CPI (M) had agreed to trade votes from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram. Discussions for it were held in Delhi. The two parties will do the same in the Assembly election, the Congress leader said while speaking to the media here.
Thillankeri bypoll is the latest example of this alliance. Thillankeri is the land of popular RSS leader Valsan Thillankeri. The BJP lost 2,000 votes there and the CPI (M) candidate won. What more do you need as proof? asked Mullappally Ramachandran.
Earlier, Valsan Thillankeri had said that there was an unbreakable bond between him and the CPI (M). That influence was on display. Hence people must be alert.
The CPI (M) is playing a low rated political game. They have embraced Hindu and no-Hindu communalism. It is their history. And now people like A. Vijayaraghavan are speaking pseudo secularism.
