The union minister also reacted to the criticism raised by P Jayarajan that he acted like a Sanghi forgetting his minister post. ‘Even the party workers and supporters do not trust P Jayarajan.

Palakkad: Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that many people are of the opinion that the ‘Covidiot’ remark he made against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was not harsh enough. The Facebook post put up by CPM leader P Jayarajan indicate his mental state only, he added.

“The remarks made by the chief minister are harsher than what I said. But many people said that I should have used some harsh terms. A person who violates Covid protocols frequently should have been called something more severe,” Muraleedharan said.

The union minister also reacted to the criticism raised by P Jayarajan that he acted like a Sanghi forgetting his minister post. ‘Even the party workers and supporters do not trust P Jayarajan. His Facebook post indicate his mental state. He is only trying to gain trust of the CM. I have sympathy for him,’ Muraleedharan said.

Muraleedharan also denied the allegation of Jayarajan that he had trespassed into Nayanar’s room in Kerala House for releasing an ABVP worker. ‘ABVP workers locked Nayanar when I was trapped in a fake charge,’ he further said.
