Thiruvananthapuram: Case will be booked against people who violate quarantine. The motorcycle patrol group of the police will ensure that Covid patients remain in quarantine. The availability of facilities at homes of patients will be checked. If the facilities are not available, the patients will be shifted to CFLT. The police will take measures to deliver the necessities for the people in quarantine.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had earlier informed that the lockdown on Sundays and the night curfew enforced from 10 to 6 will continue. He had also said that the decision on whether the curbs should be continued will be taken in the review meeting that will be held on Tuesday.
He said that everyone must prepare to live with Covid. Experts opine that Covid cannot be completely eradicated even if all people are fully vaccinated. It has been decided to conduct special vaccination drives within the limit of local body institutions where the vaccination rate is comparatively less.
