Konni (Pathanamthitta): Even after removing the Sunday lockdown, there has been no rise in the number of passengers. KSRTC conducted only 60 percent of services in the state on Sunday. 1861 buses operated on the day. 3300 buses operate on normal days. The number of passengers was less in the morning but saw a slight increase by evening.

This Sunday was the second one after the lockdown was removed. Although the number of passengers increased when compared to last Sunday, there has not been any significant change. It is hoped that the coming Sundays will see more passengers.

KSRTC conducted 600 services in the south zone including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta. The number of daily services is around 1300. The income from Sunday services was also found to be less.
