Thiruvananthapuram: Amid the vaccine shortage in Kerala, 3 lakh doses of Covid vaccine will reach Kerala by Tuesday afternoon giving a temporary relief to the ongoing crisis. The vaccination drive in five districts was affected due to shortage of Covid vaccine.
The Centre had earlier informed that the next batch of vaccine doses will arrive Kerala on Wednesday. However, when the vaccination drive in five districts were stopped due to shortage, the Centre immediately arranged vaccine doses for Kerala.
The state government had informed the Centre that the vaccination drive in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Wayanad districts was temporarily stopped on Monday due to lack of vaccine doses.
