Mavelikkara: Haripad Special Fast Track Court sentenced a woman to 10 years of imprisonment and for abducting a minor girl under the guise of a man.
The court imposed a fine of Rs 1,07,000 to the convict Thiruvananthapuram- Veeranakavu native Sandhya (27).
The incident pertaining to the case happened in January. Sandhya befriended the minor girl by chatting through a fake account naming herself as ‘Chandu’. Dressing up in men’s style and with short hair, Sandhya appeared in front of the girl under the guise of a man and kidnapped her.
