Kannur: Thalassery Judicial Magistrate Court here on Saturday has issued a summons to actor Dileep over a defamation case filed by producer Liberty Basheer.
Dileep has been asked to appear before the court on November 7.
Earlier, Dileep stated that Liberty Basheer and others conspired in the actress attack case of 2017. Following this, the Malayalam producer filed a complaint in 2019.
Later, he came forward alleging that officials are not taking any action on his complaint.
