Lady staff of Pala court who went to hand over court notice attacked

Kottayam: Police arrested two persons for allegedly attacking an employee of Pala family court. On Friday evening, Erattupetta police nabbed Poonjar natives Kizhakkethottam James Lucos (60) and his son Nihal (24) who were on the run after the incident.

The accused attacked the process server of Pala family court KV Rincy when she went to their house to hand over a notice issued by the court. Rincy had lodged a complaint against James and Nihal for assault. Her identity card was also torn.

Rincy had reached their house to issue notice relating to the divorce of James Lucos daughter. Police registered a case for attack and hindering her official duty.
