Kannur: When media persons questioned the inability of police to nab attackers of CPM headquarters, AKG Centre, LDF convener EP Jayarajan asked whether police could catch Sukumara Kurup yet.

“Various governments came into power over these years. However, Sukumara Kurup could not be arrested. How many cases are there like that?” asked Jayarajan to defend the police.

He claimed that the police are proceeding with the investigation satisfactorily. The attackers might have adopted their own ways to escape from being caught. Hence, a full fledged investigation has been ensured and it is progressing effectively with the support of all possible scientific technologies, said Jayarajan.

Reacting to KPCC president K Sudhakaran's allegation of EP Jayarajan plotting the attack, he said that he cannot make such self-degrading comments.
