Thiruvananthapuram: Minister of Education V Sivankutty tested Covid positive here on Tuesday morning. He has been admitted to a hospital and his health condition is reportedly satisfactory.
Many employees in the offices of forest and Devaswom ministers also tested positive. Covid clusters were also formed among secretariat officials. Hence, the secretariat library has been closed and the Chief Minister’s office was shut partially.
Covid spread is rampant among the police force also. Within the last two weeks, 610 police officers tested positive in the state.
