Coronavirus: Two under observation in Kozhikode go abroad without permission

There are 310 people under observation in Kozhikode district. There are two people in Medical College while the other is in Beach Hospital.

Kozhikode: Two people who were under the observation of the Kerala health department here went abroad discarding directions from authorities in the context of coronavirus being tested positive in the state.

Meanwhile, many students who returned from China are hiding that fact fearing ostracism from the society. Health department authorities said that ward level representatives should create awareness regarding the issue.

The health department functions by protecting the privacy of the individuals. However, the number of people who disregard the suggestions from the department are on the rise. The DMO confirmed that two people who were under observation in Kozhikode have gone to another country. In order to prevent such actions in the future, DMO said that awareness should be created among the people.

More than 60 people are under observation in Kozhikode town. Out of this, two people have gone to another country. Some students are reportedly giving out false information with regard to where they are studying.

An all-party meet was organized near Kavilumpara in Kozhikode, where three people are under observation. One among them went to a retreat centre while the other could not be traced. The one who went to the retreat centre was brought back half way into his journey.

There are 310 people under observation in Kozhikode district. There are two people in Medical College while the other is in Beach Hospital. Meanwhile, health department officials claimed that it is not practical to recall the ones who went abroad.
