Thiruvananthapuram: The Centre has planned to administer Covid-19 vaccines to 15.34 lakhs children between the age group of 15 to 18 years. For the children who are affected by Coronavirus already, can take vaccines only after 3 months.
The vaccination certificate will contain the details entered in the CoWIN portal. After vaccination, the certificate can be downloaded using the mobile number registered in the portal.
Points to remember
Children shall have food before vaccination or bring food with them
Bring drinking water while coming to the vaccination centre
Carry Aadhaar card or school ID card
Mobile number registered in CoWIN portal
Vaccination of children may take time
30-minute observation
A supervisor and vaccinator will be present in the vaccination centre.
The children will be allowed to take the vaccine after confirming that he/she has no allergy or other health issues.
The child will be kept under observation for 30 minutes.
5 lakh vaccine doses
65,000 doses of Covaxin are available in Kerala at present. The Centre has informed that 5 lakhs more doses will be brought to the state.
