Cops suspended for urinating in front of railway officer’s house

Thiruvananthapuram: A railway department officer was ruthlessly beaten up by cops for questioning them when they urinated in front of the former’s house. The district police chief has issued an order suspending the cops and a case has been registered against three police officers based on the complaint lodged by Kilimanoor native Rajanish.

The attack was unleashed by policemen who arrived at Nagaroor from Kottayam to participate in the state conference of the police association. After parking the traveller of the cops in front of the complainant’s house, the police officers alighted from the vehicle and urinated. Rajanish, who noticed this, came out of his house and questioned the policemen. This provoked the cops and they attacked Rajanish.

Following the incident, Rajanish filed a complaint at the Kilimanoor police station. In the complaint, he mentioned that the policemen were inebriated. Currently he is undergoing treatment at a hospital here.
