Anthikkad: Kerala police suspended a cop who allegedly sent an obscene video to a woman in Anthikkad, Thrissur.
District police chief Aiswarya Dongre suspended Kodungallur native Joseph Cleetus who is a driver in Peringottukara police outpost.
Joseph obtained the mobile number of a Chazhoor native woman during a vehicle inspection, and started to pester her with frequent calls and messages. The complainant also alleged that the cop had attempted to insult her by sending obscene videos.
Joseph was suspended on the grounds of the probe report filed by Anthikkad SHO PK Das confirming the allegations raised by the complainant. He had faced departmental actions earlier for being allegedly involved in financial fraud.
