The LDF candidate secured 0 votes in the election and it became a huge controversy. The party workers visited the homes of supporters and told them to vote for Karat Faisal.

Since OP Rashid was a friend of Karat Faisal, he was not much active in the campaigning process. He didn’t even turn up at the polling booth on election day.
