Contact list of COVID patient in Kollam renewed; 101 in high risk list

Kollam: The contact list of the person who tested positive for the coronavirus at Prakkulam here has ben renewed. With this, the number of persons in the high risk list rose to 101. These people had come in direct contact with the COVID patient.

Earlier, there were only 41 people in the high risk contact list. In addition to this, 46 people were added in the low risk list. The test results of 36 persons who were in contact with the Prakkulam native man will come out on Sunday.

The fluid samples of 10 people who travelled with the coronavirus positive man in the same flight have been collected. The samples of other travellers will be collected on Sunday.

Meanwhile, it has come to light that the Prakkulam native man travelled in an auto rickshaw from bus stand to his house. But no details of the auto could be collected yet.

At present, 23 people are quarantined at hospitals and 17,023 persons are home-quarantined. The highest number of people in quarantine are in Kollam district.
