Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee directed to revamp the district level committees formed for the reorganisation of the party. The move was planned in view of the allegations raised against the committees for marginalising certain leaders on the basis of their groups. The disparity in the functioning of various committees have also been pointed out as another complaint.

KPCC office bearers and executive committee members were excluded in certain districts while forming the district level committees for party reorganisation. As many as 15 executive committee members were kept out from the controversial committees.

Currently KPCC has instructed to include all the executive committee members in the district committees which will be reorganised soon. The district committees will have to prepare the list of office bearers in mandalam, block and DCC to hand them over to the KPCC.
