Posters that appeared across Thiruvananthapuram city
Thiruvananthapuram: Posters targeting Opposition Leader VD Satheesan and DCC President Palode Ravi have appeared in various parts of the capital city, including the premises of KPCC offices. The posters, which stated “Congress Party For Sale” have been pasted in the name of ‘Save Congress Forum’.
The posters include remarks against the opposition leader and DCC president in Malayalam which roughly translates to “For sale, Congress Party for sale. Contact Palodan & Paravuran Company.”
In a veiled attack, the posters also called for protests against the actions of "fundraiser-cum-drama actor Palodan”, who destroyed the Congress party in the capital district and the “arrogant Paravur king”.
Meanwhile, protests are erupting within the Congress, across the state, over the appointment of block presidents. Both the A and I groups have expressed dissatisfaction over the reorganisation. Senior leaders had also come to the fore expressing public dissent in this regard.
