Congress MPs should not miss attendance in Parliament: Mullappally Ramachandran
New Delhi: KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran said that the Congress MPs who are elected from Kerala have a historical mission to accomplish and that the UDF MPs should attend parliament meetings without fail. He added that among the Congress MPs in Parliament those from Kerala are the strongest.
Parliament is entering into important procedures after the swearing-in ceremony. As the budget session also will take place, this session is very important. The MPs should be present throughout the meeting, he stated.
They should not attend the programmes in their constituencies during the parliament sessions. Congress will take the attendance in parliament seriously. Also the MPs should concentrate on the issues in their constituencies, he said.
Mullappally said that he had never failed to attend even a single day of parliament sessions during his tenure. All members should follow that model. All MPs should be active to reveal the real face of the central government during the parliament procedures, Mullappally Ramachandran clarified.
