Congress leaders troll Pinarayi Vijayan for stopping COVID-19 daily press conference


The Chief Minister’s decision to end the daily press conference was taken when the Sprinklr controversy had started to intensify.

Thiruvananthapuram: The youth leadership of congress party has taken to social media to troll Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and congratulate KM Shaji after the government decided to put an end to the daily press conference.

With this, the Congress youth leadership stepped forward congratulating KM Shaji MLA. The Chief Minister’s decision was announced at the end of Thursday’s press conference.

Congress MLAs VT Balram, Shafi Parambil, PC Vishnunath, KS Sabarinath and spokesperson Jyothikumar Chamakkala took to social media to troll the Chief Minister and congragulate the Congress MLA.

Shafi Parambil MLA made fun of the decision to end the daily press conference by the Chief Minister by posting a picture of him along with KM Shaji MLA.

VT Balram MLA also trolled the CM by asking KM Shaji to not do such kind of things to anyone.

PC Vishnunath MLA congratulated KM Shaji for proving that journalists in Kerala has the ability to ask tough questions.

KS Sabarinath MLA too joined the bandwagon by posting the picture of a shop with its shutters down along with the words that the shop will remain closed from tomorrow, implying the decision to stop the press conference.

Congress spokesperson Jyothikumar Chamakkala said that Pinarayi Vijayan decided to put an end to the press conferences as he was scared of answering questions raised by Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala.
