Congress is my life and my livelihood: K Sudhakaran
Kannur: Congress leader K Sudhakaran said he would have contested in Dharmadom constituency against chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan if he was given atleast 3 months’ time for preparation.
“If the party had directed me to get ready for the electoral battle, then I would have made preparations for that. I would have entered the fray and created shakeups too. But there was no hints at all. Congress party is my life and my livelihood too,” he told Mathrubhumi News.
There were reports that Sudhakaran may have entered the electoral contest from Dharmadom against the CM but later he withdrew saying he did not get enough time to make any fundamental preparation at the constituency.
Sudhakaran also said that the district congress committee was also not in favour of him contesting. Sudhakaran was entrusted with the responsibility of working for the party candidates’ victory in five constituencies in Kannur.
