Congress future shouldn’t be decided in discreet meeting of three: P T Thomas
Kochi: P. T. Thomas MLA opined that the political decisions that would affect the future of Congress party should not be taken in a confidential meeting of three leaders. It is not a war strategy to discuss in secret. The party affairs should not be decided as if it were some private property.
No democratic norms were followed while deciding on the Rajya Sabha seat issue. The moves seemed to be an attempt to conceal something. UDF and KPCC should have discussed regarding giving away the Rajya Sabha seat.
The leaders have the responsibility to disclose it in the party, if they had made such an agreement behind the comeback of K. M. Mani to UDF during Chengannur by-poll. The leadership that cannot keep up energetic moves should be changed, P. T. Thomas demanded.
