Congress expels Lathika Subhash from primary membership
Kottayam: Lathika Subhash who will be contesting the assembly election as independent candidate from Ettumanoor constituency has been ousted from the Congress party. Lathika was the state president of Mahila Congress.
KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran made it clear that Lathika Subhash has been removed from the primary membership of Congress.
Lathika Subhash moved away from Congress after she was denied the Ettumanoor seat to contest the election. She tonsured her head in front of KPCC office in protest over denying candidature in Ettumanoor. Following this, she also filed nomination to contest from Ettumanoor.
