Alappuzha: The alleged attack on the Congress booth agent in Kayamkulam was not a political attack. The wife of Soman, the booth agent, revealed that the incident was not a political attack. She said Soman was injured in a domestic fight with his son and it was not politically connected. Soman’s wife Reji made this startling disclosure with the support of a video too.
There was news that Soman, UDF booth agent of Puthupally Kayamkulam 55 number booth, was attacked on the polling day. Later he was taken to hospital for treatment. Soman who reached home after the poll duty entered into a fight with his son over a trivial issue of keeping the room locked. This resulted in a quarrel and when he tried to chase his son, he fell over a thorny bush and sustained injuries. CPM local leaders released the video of Reji’s disclosure.
