Thiruvananthapuram: CPM launched the house-visit programme on Sunday, focusing on the Lok Sabha polls of 2024.
In the pamphlet prepared to be distributed while visiting homes, the party criticised the Congress and BJP of working together against the state government. It also alleges that the UDF MPs are doing nothing for the development of the state.
The union government wants to convert India into a theocracy. The Citizenship Act is a step in this direction. It also derailed projects for the poor such as MGNREGA, the pamphlet says.
On Sunday, CPM state secretary MV Govindan inaugurated the programme by visiting houses in Chala, Ambalathara and Puthenpally areas. Politburo, central committee and state committee leaders will also take part in the campaign. The CPM cadres will listen to the criticism of the public, Govindan said.
