Cong has its own turf, says K Sudhakaran; not bothered about CPM's rifts and splits
Kannur: Senior Congress leader and MP K Sudhakaran on Sunday stated that the public believes P Jayarajan is being discriminated within CPM. It is normal that the rifts and splits of a party benefits the rivals. However, we don’t forsee this and contest the polls, he told reporters here.
“Their motto is LDF for sure. But jail is sure for LDF,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Sudhakaran denied reports that he was summoned by Congress high command. No official information has been received regarding KPCC presidentship. However, there had been few unofficial conversations, he added.
Even if Jayarajan and CPM stood together, UDF will seize the seats it has to. Jayarajan had accepted the discussions with RSS which were denied by central committee member Govindan Master. This was a first in CPM’s history. A conflict regarding it is still ongoing within the party, he alleged.
