Dear the Family Members of Shri Veerendra Kumar and Mathrubhumi,
May God’s peace be upon all of us! I came to know about the sad demise of our family friend, M. P. Veerendra Kumar, through Dayapuram Educational and Cultural Centre, Kattangal, Kozhikode.
Our family’s relationship goes back more than three decades, starting with my late father, Sheikh Abdullah Ibrahim Al Ansari, when he visited Dayapuram in the year 1983. On the same occasion he was invited by Mathrubhumi for inaugurating the printing of Muqadhima.
Later, Mr. Veerendra Kumar visited Qatar, and we had the pleasure to invite him for dinner in our house. Subsequently, I also got an opportunity to be with him during the inaugural ceremony of Mathrubhumi’s Malappuram edition.

We are grateful for the support he has extended towards Dayapuram, no doubt that we will miss his support.
Sheikh Ansari family members join the family of Vereendra Kumar, his relatives, friends, and all the members of Mathrubhumi in this difficult and sad moment.
It is indeed a great loss for the society and his contributions as a writer, a member of India’s parliament, orator and as an eminent politician will be remembered with great respect.
Our deep and heartfelt condolences.
With warm regards,
On behalf of the Sheikh Ansari Family
Abdul Aziz Al Ansari
